There have been numerous reports about different performance and stability issues in Windows 7 (both 32 and 64 bit). To fix this, we suggest downloading and installing the latest update - 1.15 RC6! This should hopefully fix most of the known problems. This update should work with both 32 and 64 bit operating systems.

If upgrading to 1.15 RC6 does not help, here is another bit of advice from our friend CmdrPatterson:

It seems, you have to run IFH in the windows compatability mode for it to work properly.
So to do that just right click on the executable and click "properties", then the compatability tabe and set it to Windows XP Service Pack 2, and I have found that for some strange reason you have to click the "Disable desktop composition" section. Don't ask me why. Only the Vorlons know for sure...
